What To Expect
Rogers First Assembly has something for everyone! We welcome you and would love to meet you. We know that visiting a church for the first time can sometimes be an overwhelming experience, but having an idea of what to expect can certainly help. To learn more about what to expect at RFA, check out What We Believe and keep reading!
When should I show up?
Our morning worship services starts at 10:30am and features programs for infants and children through 5th grade. Come a few minutes early and enjoy a cup of coffee at Eurasia Café. In order that you don't feel rushed, we do recommend that you arrive before the service so that you have time to drop off your kids at their programs and make your way to the worship center.
How do I Get There?
We are located at the corner of Dixieland and Oak, across from the Rogers Public Library.
Our address is 1710 W. Sycamore, Rogers, AR 72758.
What should I wear?
We don’t have a “dress code” at RFA. Each week in our worship experiences you will see people in jeans and t-shirts and others wearing dress clothes. We want you to feel free to come however you are the most comfortable.
Are there Kids Programs Available?
RFA offers interactive, age-appropriate programs for your kids to enjoy while you are attending services in the sanctuary. From infant to 5th grade, we have a program that builds your child’s relationship with Jesus Christ!
What will the Service Be Like?
Our services start with a time of worship through singing and music. We have live, upbeat worship with a full band, as well as intimate songs of worship. Everyone worships in his or her own unique way – for some, that means singing, clapping, and raising their hands; for others, it means quietly reflecting on the words.
After a time of worship, Pastor Danny Cheney preaches, and brings engaging and biblically relevant messages designed to help you grow spiritually and reach your potential in Christ.
Do I Have to Give a Donation?
Each week, there is time to worship God through the giving of tithes and offerings, but as a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attendees, allowing them to thank God for the work he is doing in their lives and gives Rogers First Assembly the means to reach more people for Christ in the future.
Communion/Lord's Supper
We celebrate communion together during service on the first Sunday of the month. Anyone can participate in this time of reflection and prayer as long as they’ve made the decision to follow Jesus Christ. The juice and bread we share represent the life He gave up so our sins could be forgiven.
